Father left now wants child

The father of my child left back to his home state now that he knows its a boy he wants t get full custody. father is unfit to take care of child even part time how could i make it to where he wouldnt get him half of the year

How old is the boy? Most courts won't let fathers have too much visitation until a child turns 3 or so, because men have a harder time taking care of little ones.

He is only a couple of days but i am scared he will take him for 6 months at a time how do i not let that happen

You should file for custody before he does. Present your case to the judge. He may get some visitation, but nothing like 1/2 of the time if he is unfit to care for your child!

Don't be scared, infants need their mothers a lot more than their fathers. Child services and the courts will help protect you.
