Getting rights savored and Grandparents rights

How do you get a fathers right savored, if he is already in jail for molesting a minor. His parents claim that they have already filed for grandparents rights against me but I haven't heard or gotten any papers for it. In Kansas does grandparents rights consist of custody or just visitation.

Visitation. And they have to serve you with something, check with the local court in which the child resides. In regards to severing rights, you need to speak with an attorney it might be easier if you could get the state to do it because of what the crime was. The only way they could get custody is through third party custody and you would be well aware of it. They cannot get it without either having the child and filing or serving you something. I bet they are just looking for visitation.
