Grandparent guardianship

My daughter wants to go into the Military and she has two children, we have talked about it and we have agreed that I will be there legal guardian. The military wants to see custody/guardianship papers before she can go. My daughter has always lived with me here in Texas. How I get this done without hiring an expensive attorney?

Your duaughter can go on line and look under legal forms they have guardianship forms. Your daughter just has to give you consent to file for the guardianship. You both can fill out the papers and file them with the court. You would just have to pay the filing fee.

I have gone online and all of the sites say temporary guardianship, is there a specific website that can go to?
