Grandson's Mother very unstable:

One year ago the courts gave custody of two of our grandchildren back to the mother, she is a very unstable person, refuses to let us buy things for the boys that they need, tells us we can buy things for the boys only if they bring it home, then when they bring it home she makes us keep it. Now she's filed court papers to take away the visitations we all ready have and everything she has in their are lies, how do we fight this in court, I really don't have the money for another lawyer. We raised these two boys for 4 1/2 years before she got them back.

Even if you do not have money for an attorney you still need to go to the hearing,it is better to be there and defend yourself then just let her win by not showing up. The judge can tell pretty much who is telling the truth, usally if someone lys they get caught. If you already have visitations though the court they would have to have just cause to ask the court to take those visitations away, and proof also,it is not always based on hear say. I wish you luck,I believe a grandparent deserves the right to enjoy being a part of their grandchildrens life.

Its just so sad to hear the boys when they come to our house call their mother a liar, and then of course we hear that the Girls can play in the boys bedroom but the boys can't play in their sisters room, and today Bradley Jr, told the sunday School teacher that they won't be there next sunday because their mom won't bring them and he had fun. But thanks for the words of encourgagement. we will be there with other family members.
