Home repaires?

It is insisted forced separation of my male child and his sibling sister to separate bedrooms and repairs to the residence where I now preside be completed. They in fact have their own rooms but do not utilize them as often as the state feels they should. The children are close and co-supportive of one another. Something I feel to be understandable after a close to seven month placement out of home by CPS
It is my understanding the a dependency is for the protection of the children and separating them from an endangering situation. Here in Colorado, in foster care siblings of the opposite sex are allowed to occupie the same room as long as they have seperate beds, but not at home after the age of 3. None of that makes any sense to me at all. It's ok for the state, but not ok with the state, kind of a double standard. I did have a friend that went through a similar situation recently, and she built a divider wall, very simple, some sheets of plywood and hinges, and CPS considered that acceptable. The repairs they want are likely due to health, fire, or other hazzards they perceive in your home. I am going to refer you to a book and web site you will find very helpful.

Suzanne Shell has written many books which speak to contemporary parenting, and the unconstitutional intrusion of the STATE into private families.
Her latest book is Profane Justice (revised and updated edition)

Ms. Shell discusses spanking, CPS, jury nullification, and topics of interest
to almost any parent.

Sorry, I don't think I get it. You have 2 kids and the state won't let them stay with you until you do some repairs? What is CPS?
