For two children, the bases for child support is 25% of your gross yearly income, minus FICA and whatever else your state allows to be taken out before figuring child support. It doesn't matter what your hourly rate of pay is, you could be making minimum wage and the base is still 25%. That is not to say that a judge can't order a lower amount, that % is just a guide line for the states. Hope this helps. Good luck to you!

Usally it is 25% of your incom. There are other considerations. Like what you owe and if you have the kids on your health insurance ect. Sometimes because of the payment that it cost you to pay for the insurance the judge will allow a lesser amount of child support. If you do not carry health insurance then you will probarly end up paying the 25%.
