Stay out off it, if they have legal joint custidy,the father is breaking a court order,she can go to court and get full custidy,and you for harboring a miner,you dont have her permission to take care of the child.
if you whant to help the child ,help get the child to the mother as soon as posible

How would i get custody of a child that is not mine?
I have been taking care of a child for awhile. his father will sign over custody to me, but the mother wont. they have joint custody of 6 months at a time, but the mother has never taken care of or supported the child. How could i get custody of this child with only one parents signature within a week?
