I cant find a lawyer that can fix this problem. Why?

I raised my two kids from 1982 to 1986 when a judge said my ex-wife should get a second chance and i should give the kids to her. In 1987 one year later my son came back to live with me, my ex-wife would not let my daughter come and live with me and her brother. So my daughter had to live in garages and stay on the run from welfare with her mon,in 1990 my ex-wife sent my daughter to a foster home,my daughter was not aloud to come and live with her dad and brother. The state says they always do whats best for the child HA HA HA. Up till 1986 i gave my kids a good life then along came a damn judge who thought he knew what was up and took my kids and gave the to my ex=wife. When i called the judge in 1987 and let him know that my boy was back living with me and my daughter was with her mon living in a garage. I asked how do you like what you did ,he i dont like this turned out im am going to send you some papers to fill out so we can get this into court and get you both of your kids back.I never got the papers after two weeks i called the judge back to see what happend and found out the judge (died). I did get to raise my son his whole life less one year and my daughter upto 1986 and 1988 when my ex-wife put my daughter in foster home welfare would not let me or her brother ever see her again till she turned 18.NEED HELP BAD ! Minnesota says i owe 45,000.00 in child suport.Get real minnesota wefare dept you messed up and want me to pay for your mistake.

WoW, I feel for you, sound like very complicated issue, I dont have much answer for you all-though, I dont know much about your financial, it going to cost some money; the issue you are in with this days and ages its really hard to do anything yourself fighting the systems without a lawyer to back you up, unless one has lots of knowledge of in and out about the laws. You might want to try the same thing with the new judge who took his place explaining the paper work and forms ( the old judge) was going or suppose to send but never recieved due to his death. On your behalf on child support owe to Minnesota, is going to be an uphill battle trying to clear without a lawyer. child support is something you might want to clear before the child custody, keep in mind most judge see that you owe back child support, they will not give you a time of day listhening to your case. good luck!
