I have sole custody of my child. Do I still need permission from his biological Father to take him on holidays out of the country?

His biological father has nothing to do with my son. He does not see or pay for my child. I have sole custody as stated in my divorce papers. Do I need a letter from a Lawyer with the biological fathers permission?

You should be fine if you have sole custody. A letter from your lawyer stating that you are the sole guardian of your son can't hurt and will probably save time if you ever need it. To be honest though, I've never had an issue taking my son out of the country and no one's even asked me about it. That may have changed recently, but two years ago, not an issue.
