I live in ga and have joint custody of 2 minor children with the father having physical custody, they all currently reside with his mother and she refuses to allow me to speak to my children over the phone and i live 2 hrs away can she do that

Not unless it was court ordered..but then again it is her phone and she has freedom to do with it what she wants...my advice i live in ga as well and we have great service with verizon get your kids a pre paid verizon and urself and you can talk for free

I'm sorry your ex-mother-in-law is so selfish. Perhaps you could write her a letter asking her to put the children's interests ahead of hers.
