You need to go to court and tell the judge your side of the story and see what happens,you will not be able to get visitations with a restraing order,and i believe they last up to 6 months. You can also call legal aide and see if you quailtfy for free legal services,they go on your incom. You can find them in the blue pages under government.

I need free legal representation in a order of protection suit and visitation rights?
I have been served an order of protection paper for my ex livein girlfriend and my two boys. Their was an arguement over a haircut on the 1 1/2 year old with his mother and maternal grandmother that started it all. But in the order of protection she is accusing me of hurting her and the boy. How do i fight this wrong accusation and get vistation rights for my kids. I have no money.No job (but i am looking), and access to a lawyer. I am a guy who just wants to be able to see his kids. Please help
