I pay child spt for my 2 children from my previous marriage.I am now re-married and have 2 more children. Adjustment?

After divorcing my ex-wife, I am now paying child support for my two children from my previous marriage with her. I have since gotten re-married and had twins with my new wife. With the additional 3 dependents, how can I get an adjustment on my child support payments. My family is suffering and I am slipping quickly into financial ruin.

Good luck with that ! We are in the same boat, my ex pays child support for his 2 children and we have a child together and we haven't been able to get it reduced. If you can prove that after paying child support out that you are almost at or at, or below your states poverty level, you may have a chance. Also, if you can prove that you can no longer meet your debts, you may have a chance. Keep your head up, I know it's hard, but somehow we make it through it. Best of luck to you!
