Unless you can show just cause to the court as to why you believe that the joint custody should be modified to full custody you will not be able to change it. You have the right to file for modivacation but that does not mean that it will happen. However if he has not been following the court order for some reason or you feel that the child or children are in dangernthe court preferes that parents have joint custody and share in the parenting plans and have joint say in decition making.
