If a father and maternal grandparents have 50/50 custody in PA. should he pay child support.

In addition to the child support the father also pays the maternal grandparents for school lunches. He provides shelter buys clothing, and shoes and food. Also pays for school outings and projects while he has his child every other week. All of this while does not have custody rigths but only has partial visitation, that is on the maternal grandparents scheduled week of custody. The mother was never ordered to pay child support but the father has to pay even though he supports him while he is exceriseing his custody rights.
In addition to all of this the maternal grandparents are granted to have him 5 days everyother week. And the maternal mother has him 2 days every other week on the maternal grandparents week of custody. The father has him 7 days every other week how is that 50/50 custody?

That doesn't sound like 50 50 custody

but if your question is about paying child support, then incomes will factor into that, and he probably makes more then the grandparents do.
