In Connecticut can child support be reinstated?

In Nov. 2005, my son was sent to live with me in Florida. My ex-wife requested that support be ceased and was not necessary since I had one child and she had the other. Now I just recieved notice from my employer that she has filed for support again. Our son is now 19 and lives with her in CT but is not in school and is employed part-time. Our daughter whom always resided with her, even when she sent my son to FL is 15. Our daughter spends the entire summer with me in FL. I pay for doctor visits and help my children without a court order, until she now refiled for support. Can she do this? After having stopped it 2 years ago now wants support again? It just doesn't seem right.

I think you could plead your case, it doesn't sound right. but it will probably have to go up to a judge to decide on what is going to happen.
