Is ther child support involved when you have joint custody

If a mother has full custody and the father wants joint custody granted will he still have to pay child support?

He might, but it probably would be less since he would have some partial custody.

but the amount of what it would be, would have to be worked out when you set up the custody agreement

Probably, It would depend on who the child lives with primarely.
