Is there a guideline that specifically addresses "what's covered" by Child support money.

I have physical custody of my two children. Child support payments are deducted directly from their father's (my ex-husband) paycheck. My exhusband is constantly sending our children to me for money for things that occur during his custodial time, whether it be to go to a show or for an ice cream, even for payment of allowance for chores done at his home while the kids are in his care. Any time they ask to do something he tells them to see me because he 'pays child support'. He has been reprimanded by the court in the past for discussing the details of child support with our children, but they are getting older and telling them 'this is grown-up stuff' doesn't work anymore. Just a few minutes ago he told them to look it (Child Support) up on the internet and ask me to see a check ! He tells the kids that Child support is for 'everything' and he considers it a 'pool of money' from which we each sould be able to draw from for their needs. I am exasperated.

Child support is what it sounds like to help support your children to keep a roof over their heads and food in their belly. When the courts decide on the amount, they give your a ex a percentage off of his monthly support to you for the days he has the children,What ever he does with your children durning his time with them he has to pay for. He can't tell you how to use the support payments, let alone pay for his outing with his children.
