Is there any statute stating that a non-custodial parent cannot take a minor child out of state?

What are the rights of the custodial parent to make sure the non-custodial parent does not remove the child from the state without written permission?

A non-custodial parent can leave the state with thechild providing it is during the non-custodial parents visitation ,and providing that the parent has the child back home when visitation is over, but it would be a good idea to let theother parent know your going out of state with the child.A child can not be taken out of state to live by either parent without the others permission.
