You need to file for joint custody of all the children the court does not look lightely on srperating the kids. There is know reason that the court would have to not allow you physiacn custody. Do what is right for the children and having to get a restaining order is not going to help in court regarding custody. There is a reason for the restaing order so the juge will know there is a promblem with violence.

Custody question
Hi I have a question I have been married for the past 14 years my partner has always been a verbal abuser physical at one time until the first time i call the police but i have left and before but my boy 13 and 11 always want to stay, my daughter who is 5 always leaves with me is there a possibility that he can obtain custody of my boys if i file a divorce i just got a restraining order approved and am moving out of our home
