Does legal marriage void previous custody agreement?

My daughter married her 3 year-old son's father on Jan. 4, 2008. He had previously obtained a joint custody agreement thru the Liberty County, TX courts where he was given the 'right of domicile'. She has been told by other family members that if she stays married to him for 60 - 90 days it will void the previous court order. Is that correct?
