Have state medical care. Will i lose it if jointed custody is obtained?

I am a mother that has state medical care and would like to have joint custody for the father and my self. If joint custody is obtained will I lose my medical care?

I don't see why. If anything that would make it more likely for you to keep on getting it since you have another person to provide for, and the income requirement would be higher.

Your having joint custody of your child,has nothing to do with your medical,it would only apply if you were with the non-custodial parent,then the state would have to look at both your incomes.
