Joint custody/

Could you tell me joint custody and 50/50 are they the same? If not what the different.

Joint custody just means both parents take the child whatever the split of time is and they both have to make decisions on the child's health, school, religion, etc.

50/50 just means the child lives with each of you 1/2 the time.
