Joint Legal Custody and laws on moving outside the school district, but can still transport child to current school everyday.

We are doing joing legal custody with neither parent having primary custody. My husband will remain in our child's school district. I am considering moving outside the school district (about 30 minutes down the road) after the divorce is final, but will still be able to transport my child to school everyday that i have her. My divorce decree will state that we live near each other and that each parent can transport child to school. Legally will it be ok for me to move outside the school district without causing myself to lose joint custody?

If you are moving out of the school district and you can take your child back and forth to school then there would not be an issue to the courts. Even if you decide that next year yhe child needs to go to a school closer to you then you just need to notifly the court asking their consent to do so. The court is aware that couples can't always live close to each other so will adjust for your personnel needs within reason.
