Minors with a child trying to fight for custody against each other

Two fifteen year olds just had a baby together and the baby stays with the mother and the father was coming over to spend time with the child. The father wants so badly to be in his son's life, but the mother's father won't let him because he doesn't want the child's father around his daughter and her parents will not allow the child to come to the child's father house. The only way he can see his child is at the child's mother house but they won't let him. The child's father felt it was necessary to go to family court to file for visitation rights for the child to come to his residence and shared custody. What are the laws for these children because they are minors with a child still living at home with their parents? Who has the say in who can and can not see the child? How can the child's mother parents just ban the father from seeing his child when there are no problems between them, just the child's mother father doesn't like the child's father, the child's father does work and he does supports the child's need,he goes to school and he's a good student and an overall good child, because they are minors can her parents just ban him from his son's life, he's going through a depression state and it might effect school and work, so what I want to know is can the child's father just lose all rights to his son when they go to court and never see his son again, or will he be granted some type of visitation at his home and again these are minors still in school and at home

If they worked out some sort of a deal where they met at a neutral place, it might work. otherwise he could probably argue its his kid and there is no court order keeping him out of hate house.

this would all change when they turn 18 too.
