My boyfriend has a 4 month old son that his ex will not let him see they were never married but he signed the birth certifaicate if he wants joint custody or visitation rights what must he do?

Call juvenile court and tell them you want to get visitation, you will have to go to court.

Well if neither parent has filed for legal custody though the court then neither one has custody. The court allows the parent that the child resides with the last 6 months to have custody,unless you both will agree to joint custody. The father has to file a motion with the court for visistaions and when he does that he will be set up also for child support if the mother has not already got a court ordered child support though the court from the father. He does have legal rights since he is on the birth certificate. So he needs to file.Good luck!
