I am sorry to disagree with Fakery, but when a child turns 18 then they do not have to make a decition who they want to live with, they will be of legal age and adults. However your child is 12 years old and a little to young to make any decitions on if she wants to go see her father. If it is court ordered then she has to go. If the father choses to let his parents have her on his visits then that is his right,it is the grandparents,he may be over there with her,I am sure he does visit her. Unless you have a real concern involing your childs care at the grandparents home,or any feeling of abuse then you are not going to be able to stop him from getting his visitations. The judge will listen to a child and how they feel when the child is a teenager around the age of 14 and even then they will listen to their concerns that does not mean the child will get their wish, there would have to be a real concern of the court in regards to the childs care before making any rash decitions and even then the court would get councling for the child and parent before letting them become distant and apart.
