Joint legal custody but father lives in another country?
My ex lives in Canada and our divorce is based on the laws of VA, I'm worried that if he takes the kids for the summer to Canada that he may not bring them back. What are my rights and does our divorce agreement hold up even if he lives out of the country. Should I even let them go out of the country with him? we are on relatively good terms but he doesn't see them very often at all, once or twice a year. I'm afraid that if he has them for two months at a time which he wants this summer that he won't want to bring them back!
