Leaving country with child, parnets no longer together, both names on birth certificate

Hi, I am in the process of splitting from my childs father. His name is on her birth cert. I am from oversees, and need to go home as I cannot afford to live here without some family support. My daughter is a citizen, but her father is refusing to sign her passport form. What rights does he have/I have?? I am in the process of acquiring her an Irish passport, will I need his consent for her to travel on this??

Yes you will, or a court order allowing you to leave the country with her, unless you want the U.S. Marshals hunting you in Ireland, you will need to obtain his permission, and or the courts permission to leave the country with your daughter.

So I need written permission from him to leave the country? Wether it's an Irish/American passport my daughter is travelling under.
