More parenting time

My ex husband is requesting two overnights per week with our two year old daughter as his parenting time. Our divorce will be final in two days and has never had her spend more than one overnight with him, that is when he takes her. Now since it is the week we go to court, he wants her two overnights. I have kept a detailed calendar of how many times he has actually seen her since we have been seperated. Before we seperated, he never spent time with her. I have always been her primary care giver. What are the possibilities that he will get this extra day every week. I have sole physical custody of our daughter and we share joint legal.

Thankfully you kept detailed notes. I would stress the actual use of his vistiation or lack of. If the courts allow the 2nd night I would request to have it phased in since the 1 night has not been consistent over the time you have been seperated. You will basically have to prove why the additional night is unwarranted. You could stipulate that if he is consisent for "X" amount of visit he can then have a 2nd night every other week. You will have to think of possible senerios in case you need to negotiate with him and the courts. Good Luck!
