No paper work

I have a five year old daughter. I have no custody neither does father.He has never paid childsupport.I want to move to Ohio to live with my mother.If I leave without any kind of paper work stating who has custody.Can I leave Florida to Ohio without getting in trouble? And can I file when I get to Ohio?

It might be worth it to file for custody before leaving, otherwise, he could throw a fit, and might require you to come back.
