Non payment of court order child support, what course to take?
Father quit his job of 12 years, has not payed child support since Aug. Does not pay his half of child's school cost. Require to provide doctor & dental insurance, there is none since he quit his job. Supose to pay half of medical & dental if over insurance. Lives in WA state, we are CA, according to court son, age 7, require to fly for vistion, I pay half of the airfare. I cannot afford everything, can his vists be stopped until payment is made? If he came to CA for a vist, that would be fine. Chid support, court ordered, $1,200 a month. School/ child care is $400 a month, (his half). Speech therapy @ Sac. U is $400 per quarter. Dental care, spacers needed, over $900. I have payed for everything. So what can I do in regards to collection of child support payment? Vistation, can it be suspend, or amended to him comming to CA? He quit his job, wants to start his own business, wants us to wait until he can afford both. Has not even applied for a licence, nor does he have a name for it. I know he does "under the table" work. He has 1 car, 2 low riding show trucks, sea doos, goes to canada, car shows, etc...in other words has money for other things, other than child support.
