You never stated the state that your in,or I could give you the rights in your state for grandparents rights. You can go online to grandparentsrights.com and then type in your state. In alot of the states grandparents have the right to file for visitation, it sounds like your daughter is put in the middle and that is sad. When the parents are married and still together then the courts are less favoriable to allowing the grandparents the right to file for visitation. I would sujest you have a talk with your daughter and son-inlaw together and let the father know this is hurting you and you want to enjoy your grandchild, losing a son I would think your daughter and son inlaw would be more understanding. It is worth a try to work this out,if your in a state that allows you the right to file for visitations you can go online to freelegalforms.com and type in your state, and download the forms for visitation rights of minor child. I wish you luck and sorry to hear of the loss of your son.
