Give me the name of your state and I can give you the laws on relocating in your state, in most states the custodial parent cannot relocate with out the consent of the non-custodial parent, of the consent of the court.

You would need to look at your parentlng agreement that was part of your divorce. If the agreement states she is not allowed to move out of the state without your consent then she legally isn't suppose to. Of course, she can still move and then you'd have to fight her in court. It is better to be proactive and let her know in writing, if your agreement states this, that you will be filling court action immediately to stop the move. The unfortunate side is that is she can prove it is for a better job, better living conditions for the children and a better standard of living for all then the court will probably let her move. If you can prove it would be a a detriment to the children then it's possible you could file for custody. If the court does allow her to move then you need to make sure that you have visitation for the enitre summer and all breaks from schooling including all holidays.
