Can a parent leave the state of illinois with the child after a divorce without the other parents permission

Every state has different laws, so for a correct answer I would contact an attorney in that state to ask him/her.

Where I live, the custodial parent is allowed to move their primary residence within the state without seeking permission from the noncustodial parent or Court. However, if the custodial parent plans on removing the child from the state, then a court review will be needed.
