Kentucky - Relocating with minor child to OH Is there anything to file?

My husbands ex girlfriend and mother of their child moved to OHIO. He has visitation with his 5 yr old overnight one day a week and every other weekend. He also has her involved in soccer etc. His ex told him she was moving two weeks ago and said that he could meet her half way for visitation. This is impossible when school starts as in his paper work it says transport her to school etc on his days. Shouldn't something have been filed with the courts to formally annouce her leaving the state and basically taking away his visitation through the week? When I moved to KY from OH 6 years ago I had to file a notice giving my ex time to contest it which he did. HELP!

You can file an emergency custody case, to hopefully get them to put a hold on moving. it sounds like they'll need to get the paper work updated if she really was going to move.
