Mother has full custody - can she move OOS?

I have full custody of my daughter due to ex-husband (and bio-dad) molesting our daughter. (Not enough evidence to prosecute criminally.) However, the judge ordered NO visitation (7-yrs ago). Can I move out of state for a better job?

I do not think that any court would deny your motion to relocate.

Anytime a parent is ordered no visitations then, that is more or less terminating thier rights, I would like to say that you do not need to file for relocation, but sinse this has been seven years ago, I would file,to be safe, strange things can happen down the road, and you don't want the father to file a motion to reinstate visits and you get some judge that gives him supervised visits. Laws are different in states, and you may be in a state that does not allow relocation, without the courts consent, and then you may be in a state that does not stipulate that ,you have to file a motion to relocate, you can look on your custody order, and see what is stipulated.

Thank you! It would be IN to TN. The decree also states that "the Father submit an MMPI exam and/or a polygraph or voice stress test regarding the inappropriate behaviors with his child. If said exams and tests show that such allegations are unfounded, the Court will consider a hearing to reconsider visitation." He has done none of these (which does not surprise me). Also, would this move affect the paying of child support? He is still obligated until 18, etc... yes? Thank you again for your help.
