New Hampshire law for child support and obtaining joint custody

I am the father of an 11yr old girl. Child support is deducted from my check and I also give the mother an additional 2oo/mo.
There is nothing in writing about custody, but the mother is threatening to move out of state. I get my daughter every weekend fri-sun. She rather live with me than move! Would it be wise to get joint custody of her?

Well if the mother has not filed for sole custody or joint custody then she should,or you because neither one of you have legal custody until it has been appointed though the court. Your daughetr is old enought to have a say in who she wants to live with. I will tell you this when there is visitations ordered though the court usally the court stipulates that neither parent con move out of state with the child or children,so you would have to ask the judge to stipulate that you or she could move. I am surprized that your giving her an extra 200.00 a month for child support, You might want to know if you do this and your paying her by check or money order she can file a motion to have your child support increased for the amount your paying because you stating that you can afford more by paying her more.
