What are the rights for grands in illinois

Grandsons mom wants to move to another state. all of us are in his life for nine years. she has no job, or career, just wants to move to be with someone she met on the internet. grandsons father(my son) has visistation ordered by court, pays child support, and keeps his visits. judge makes decision this week. whats her chances of going, and can i file something to help keep him here?

Well if she is moving just because she meant someone on the interent I would hope that the judge would not allow it. Usally the court wants the child or children to be where both parents can see them reguarly. You if your the grandmother can not do anything,but he needs to be there in front of the judge when he is ready to make a ruling,he will have a better chance of telling the judge how he feels and why she should not be allowed to take the children out of state. But from what your saying I would say the odds are against her.
