What legal rights do i have

I have court order visits with my four children every other week end and today my exwife called me to say she is moving out of state and i can not see my children any more.i would like to know what legal rights i have to stop her from taking my four children and moving to a diffrent state with them ? its bad enough i only get to see my children twice a month how can i stop her from taking them away from me all together

Well, you can file a court order to stop this. She cannot simply move and deny you the right to see your kids. The courts have an interest in making sure that both parents have time in their children's lives. As for the moving, it should have been covered in your parenting agreement, but I suspect it has not. You can file to also change the custody issue and get more time and also address the moving aspect. The court will more than likely order you back to mediation. That's the short of it. It gets more detailed with each specific case but the first thing would be to file for a court order that will require her to respond. You might also contact your local family services department of the county you live in and see if they have any additional resources for you. Good luck.

I dont have the money to hire anohter lawyer yet again what steps can i take legally to stop my exwife from moving my children out of state

You can file a motion with the court on your own. There may be a filing fee in your jurisdiction but it shouldn't be that much.
