If there is nothing about it in the custody papers, then yes you could move, but it may get more complicated if you don't discuss it with the parents. If they are upset they can go to court and make try to make you pay for plane tickets or driving costs to ensure their visitation rights are not taken away.

My parents have temp-gardianship of my now 12yr son,but lives mostly with ex-girlfriends greatgrand parents.soly cause he was enroled in a christian school and didn't want to seperate him from his sis! I fought to have child support awarded to my parents& greatgrand parents. that was granted, now an uncle from ex side wants gardian ship and my son for three yrs to live in montana. several red flags arise! (1) if permission was granted to the uncle to take our son to live in montana with him, he wouldn't encounter any set backs! so why push for gardianship? (2) uncle was asked if my son didn't like it up there, and wanted to move back. like in 1yr what then . uncles response to that was no. only after 3yr.(why 3yr)! (3) we liove in Idaho, by having gardianship of minor and relocating out of state does that open the door for him to go after full custudy. is there a time frame that involves that 3yr spread, possibly requirements like legal residents first.
