Sharing bedrooms?

My daughter is three and when she visits her father she has come home and said something that has me really worried about sleeping arrangements at her fathers. She is currently sharing a bedroom with 8 year old brother and 7 year old sister. there is a set of bunk beds and an air mattress on the floor. Is this appropriate?

Hmmm It sounds a bit cramped? How long do they stay with their father? Does he have an extra room he uses for something else?

You could suggest letting the two younger girls have the bunkbeds and then putting the older son in a different room.

I could see this becoming more of an issue as the two older siblings age, since your daughter is so much younger than they are. So best to address it with the father now and find a better arrangement.

It does sound cramped.

for one night here or there it could be ok. but if it is really any extended or regular time, he will need to adjust his living situation to provide adiquit rooms for all of the children to let them develop and have there own space.
