I'm an First time father with one son that is 7 Months olds, my problem is that i worried that I wouldn't get a fair fight for my son because of my felony record, what I do?

I currently lives with my girlfriend but we on the phase of breaking up base on that she want to move to a town that she have feeling for her ex. I worry about her with the kids sometime. she has some problems but i know she working on it but not getting the result that she or I wanted. she has two others kid that live with her but not my ?

Well, if you can show you've cleaned up, that will go a long way. The courts still want both parents to be involved in the lives of their children. If she's got problems as well, that will be taken into account as well in regards to parenting arrangements. You should contact your state Family Services Agency and they may be able to provide you with some advice and direction on where to go. Good luck.

It depends on your felony. If your girl friend moves she will need to file for custody of your child and at that time child support and visitation will be ordered. You probarly won't get custody depending on what your felony is,but you can file for custody and have the option to tell the court your concerns about the mother. In any event you will get visitation again that depends on your felony. You can call an attorney that offers free constation and find out your options.
