IM 17 years old and i want to switch sole custody from my mom to my dad without my mothers permission how can i do this?

I am living miserably with my mother and step father in tucson, arizona. My father lives in Cleveland, Oh and i originally lived in ohio until 15 when moved to arizona with my mother. My mother has had sole custody of me for my whole life. I really want to switch custody to my dad who only has visitiation rights for christmas and summer times. Ive researched everthing from ammancepation which does not exist in ohio i was told. My mother is totally against this and hates my dad alot. I have no proof of any kind of abusement not that there is any or any other kind of horrible things reported. So i have no idea how i can do this. Mydad will accept me instantly if we could figure a way of doing this without having my mothers permission. My home with my mother is an unsafe environment where as she and my step father have fights every night and have had a report issued by the police in arizona. This i believe doesnt really help my case. I thought maybe going to a psychologist and issueing for immediate custody might work but i have no idea and my father cant find a person he can trust because all these stupid attourneys keep saying different things and we dont know what to believe. So if anyone can help me please let me so ASAP because im in ohio right now for visitation and it would prob be easier doing something about this while im in state! Hope to see help.

Swetie:
What you need to do is go to DHR in Ohioo and let them handle this They wil follow thru with all aspects of all the police department reports. Then a judge will decide if your father is a suitable parent. there will be investigation and such. But is this really what you wnat? having a weekend father would look really great but can you live with him full time? Think about it. They will however place you in temporary foster care until a hearing to release you to your dad. At that point your mom doesn't have anything to say about it. also your age you can choose who you wish to live with. Your dad needs to get a lawyer.

Also if you are 17 don't go back. Refuse to leave then she will have to hire a lawyer. by the time it get to court you willl be 18. Even if she has sole custody there is really nothing she can do... at that point change your phone number... when the police arrive give them a name of an attorney they will mark it up as a domestic dispute.

I wanted to do this in a way that i wouldnt be put in a foster care. I heard about a CPS or child protection services or something like that. Do they really listen about abuse and child cases? When i lived in ohio a few years back i was hit alot by my stepfather. I didnt think i could do anything about that but the person that told me about this CPS said they would listen about it i would have to give a estimate of when it happened and the truthful answers to the abuse. Is any of this true like i said before its so many people say all this stuff and i dont know what or whos story to believe.
