You need to file for sole custody of your son. You also need to file for child support. When you file for custody the court will give the father visitations. Well if he was found inocent of charges bought against him then you can't use that as a reason for him not to see his son or to ask for supervised visits. You might tell the judge you think he is still doing drugs and ask for supervised visits for that reason. The only thing that sounds strange to me is that your saying that your 4 year old son is terrified to meet his father, why would he be. Have you told him things about his father that would give him rason to be afraid to meet him, because he is to young just to know these things and to have these feelings of fear on his own.
