Would my husband be able to keep custody of my son from another marriage?

I have full physical custody and joint legal custody of my son. If I something were to happen to me, would my husband be able to keep custody or some type of visitation of some kind?

If the child is not your husbands child and something happens to you he has know legal rights. The father of the child would if he is still alive. You can leave your wishes for your childs care in your will if the father is not able to or does not want to take the child. You would need to ask a family member if they could care for the child if something happened to you and get it all wrote up legally.
