Temp guardianship for my niece
I'm trying to get temp guardianship for my niece. My sister lives in NC and i live in MO. I'm in the army and i currently stay in the barracks. Currently in the town my sis lives in, the local DSS ran out of money to give for daycare vouchers. and the cheapest daycare there is about 150 a week. So she cant get a job because she cant afford daycare or doesnt have transportation to work even if she did have a job. So i was trying to get temp custody of my niece b/c if i have a dependent then i can move to housing and allow my sis and my niece to come move with me until she is able to get on her feet. While she is here she wont have to worry about childcare b/c if the child id my dependent then i will have extra money for childcare and can get my sis a job b/c i already have a few lined up for her in case she gets to move here. and i have transportation. Would i be able to get temp guardianship based on this?..
