It is your baby. Step and take care of what you did.

If she puts it up for adoption then you wouldn't have to do any child support. If she decides to keep it, then you may be paying child support for the next 18+ years.

If she keeps the child be sure to get a paternity test. One night stand could end up lasting 18 years.would be wise to keep some condons in your wallet..

Even if you terminate your rights, you would still have to pay child support regardless. The only way you would get out of child support is if she puts the child up for adoption or has an abortion, or if another man adopted your child and took over (that the mother was married to).

Wrong on part of your answer Barb!
He IS MARRIED!!!!!
He shouldn't need condoms!
Think before you get 'little willie" out, is this one nite stand worth your life with a woman who loves you?
I'm sure his wife would of jumped at the chance to go out to a motel for the nite, did he think of that first?
As sidelko said, step up & be a man, I bet you thought you were one that nite!!

You may be able to terminate your rights but that doesn't mean you want have to pay child support it just means you have no legal rights to this child. And if she gives it up for adoption this could be a small time fix but you better think about when this child grows up and wants to know who the real father is! This could be a bad mistake so really think about what your doing because this isn't this childs fault and the child is really going to be the one paying for your mistake and do you thinnk that is fair? My suggestion is to come clean with not only your wife but to yourself also.
