Visitation rights for Father

I work off shore 28days and home 14 days, my question is I have 3 children ages 11, 9, 4 I'm not signed divorce papers yet and my wife likes to play games using our children as bargining chips to get what she wants. While I am off shore working can my mother pick up my children on my weekends and keep them?
