After legal guardianship is rescinded due to health does a grandparent still have visitation rights in California

I had legal guardianship of my granddaughter for 5 years. I relinguished my guardianship due to health problems to a relative. My granddaughter has been at their home for 3 years. She is now 8 years old. They recently were granted guardianship and now are limiting my visiting and I believe they will eventually try to cut me out completely. Do I have any recourse. I am told grandparents have no rights in California but I feel I am more than a grandmother to this child. What can I do. I cannot afford an attorney.
