Am i entitled to grandparents rights and visitations?
I live in pa. my son is in jail and has been since his daughter was 1. i have had a close relationship with the mother and my granddaughter since before she was born. we have been very close. she is a heavy drinker and pot smoker, but in the last year started smoking crack and abuseing her medicine. i finnally called children and youth on her. the family knows it was me that called and at first i had custody of the granddaughter and the father took his daughter with him to his mothers. neither one is to have unsupervised visits with the parents. well, the end of august, the maternal grandmother took her off me and is putting the mother in charge again to call the shots. children and youth is still involved but they are limited in what they can do at this time. now they won't let her see anyone in my family or me. she knows her father and has been to visit him many times. this is hard for me , but how can i fix this situtation for the good of all concerned?
